i carry your heart with me (i carry it in my heart)

For some reason the post I'd prepared for yesterday never went up, so I recommend you google "The Red Wheelbarrow" by William Carlos Williams if you haven't read it. Since today is the last day of April, I will be posting my favorite poem--another from E. E. Cummings (big surprise, I know). The lines I included in the title are engraved on my husband's wedding ring.

Poem removed for copyright reasons. Check here!

What's your favorite poem? Please share it in the comments!

  1. I love The Red Wheelbarrow!! I'm not sure I have a favorite poem but if I did, that would be one of the contenders.

As would this poem by E.E. Cummings. Man's a genius.

  2. I love this poem :) I'm not familiar with a ton of poetry, but this one I did know. I think it's time I bought a book of E.E. Cummings' poetry, don't you think? :D

  3. This is one of my two favorite by E.E. Cummings. I love the romance and the emotion. My other favorite is "i like my body." :)
