Wrapping up RSW

It's been a great summer of writing, and I couldn't have done it without all of you! Thanks to our lovely hosts Katy UppermanAlison MillerJaime Morrow, and Erin Funk and to all of you who spent many a night on Twitter with me.

I didn't finish my draft (like I'd hoped) so I won't be participating in Thursday's match-up, but I did get 40,000 words and a path to the end. My goal for now? To have this beta-ready by the end of the year. We'll see if I can do it!

And even though RSW is over, I'll still be checking to see if any of you are writing while I am. I need company, especially on the nights when I'm scaring myself out of the story!

  1. 40,000 words and a path to the end is fantastic. How awesome is that path to the end, knowing you're on it and knowing where you're going??

  3. You did awesome, Liz! I've had so much fun following along with your progress this summer, and writing with you in the evenings. Let's keep that up! Best of luck with this project moving forward... I can't wait to see where it goes from here!

  5. you still got a crap ton done this summer! I'm sure you'll have no problem getting your WIP ready for betas by the end of the year.

  6. You accomplished SO MUCH this summer, Liz! And so glad you joined in for RSW. I already miss it!

And when I'm not crazed with soccer and tutoring, I will definitely try to join in for a nightly writing party! Don't want anyone going it alone!
